Released on June 18th, 2019, Luke Ellington shows his versatility as a producer in an industry overshadowed by “beatmakers.”

Advances in technology have changed the way we consume and create music. In this era of bedroom producers and laptop DJs, music production has been reduced to point, click and loop. But the true essence of music is the magic of people coming together. Different souls, different sounds intertwined to create something greater than sum of the parts. Sessions is composed of 9 tracks with audio clips from actual recording sessions during the making of the album. True to his hip-hop pedigree, Luke uses samples but enhances them with live instrumentation and harmony. You don’t know where the samples end and the live music begin. They are seamlessly woven together into a new expression. Luke shows artists that they don’t have to hide behind layers of production in order to create something epic.
